Enjoy learning these 4 random facts I found for the month of July.

First of all, I hope all my USA friends and family had a fun and safe 4th of July.

Do you know what the #1 food that is consumed over the 4th of July?

Hot Dogs!

In fact, “According to the National Sausage and Hot Dog Council, (NHDSC) Americans are expected to eat 150 million hot dogs over the July 4th holiday.”

Wow, now that’s a lot of hot dogs!

July’s Birthstone

If you have a birthday in July, then you already know the birthstone for this month. Yes, it’s Ruby! It’s also called the “King of Gems.” I love these gems. They can be colored anywhere from deep blood red to paler rose red.

July’s Birth Flower

The birth flower for July is the delphinium, also known as Larkspurs. Some sites say July’s flowers are varieties of the Water Lilly.

We’re going to share these Larkspurs today.

These bright blue flowers will brighten up any summer flower garden.

Update at Books by Rose

As this blog is being sent out, I’m also sending out my new book to a list of my wonderful Beta Readers. Once they take a look at it this month, I’ll have more news to share in August. I can tell you this for now. I had to do a lot of research on this book for young readers. It truly was one of my favorite parts.

Drawing the images to go along with all my facts and information was so much fun, too! Okay, I better stop now before I give too much away. Can you tell I’m excited to share it with you! Keep watching!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

Do you have any fun facts about July that you can share? We’d love to hear from you!

As always,

Happy Reading!
