What a special treat we have in store for you.

First of all, let me introduce to you a site I have been following since I started “Books by Rose.” I met a lovely person named, Donna Furgal as she was starting a quest of her own. She wanted to find ways for girls to feel empowered with their gifts for living their dreams and creating a positive change in the world. Please check her site, “Gomee Girl” here:

Now for the fun giveaways.

If you have read the book that Cat Michaels and I have written, it’s a middle grade book called, “Just between Sam and Me.” As you know, our main character, a shy 11 year old 6th grader, struggles with self-esteem in her small town of Spring Hope, MO.

To make matters worse, a new girl moves to town and turns her world upside down. I’ll let you read more about that here. Click on the cover below.

“Just Between Sam and Me”

We also wanted to add this amazing gift for our giveaway.

Enter to win this beautiful bracelet. You will even get to customize how you want it made. We will put you directly in contact with Gomee Girl’s website for you to place your order.

Another winner has a chance to win this prize! An eBook of our new story, “Just Between Sam and Me.”

We’re not done yet.

Since we’d like to pay forward the gift of reading to you even more, one winner will get to pick a physical copy of any of my titles at “Books by Rose.” Click on the image below to read more about these books for young readers.

I have alot of elderly neighbors around me and this time of year can be very sad. Checking on them and giving them a small bag of baked treats always puts a smile on their faces.

    • rosieadmin

Jennifer, I’m so glad to hear you do that for your neighbors. I just know they love having someone to think of them and visit with them.
Thank you so much for writing in.
I’ll announce the winners Sunday morning, 9 am CST.
      Happy Valentine’s Day. 🙂

Shared on Twitter! People can pay kindness forward everyday by being considerate of others’ safety and comfort.

    • rosieadmin

Jeanna, thank you so much for paying it forward and sharing.
Yes, being considerate of other’s safety and comfort and always a kind thing to do. 🙂
      Thanks again.

  3. Venetia

This contest sends out such a great message “for all the land to hear!!”😛 Let’s see, well I love opening and holding doors for others, especially when their hands are full…but even when they’re not!😄 Usually a kind smile and a “thank you” greets my already smiling face, followed by my “You’re welcome.” If I see a stranger drop something and I’m nearby, I always try to retrieve it for them if possible to help them out. Slowing down to let a car go out into the street in front of you (and waving them out) so they’re not stuck on the side street forever is a kind thing to do. So is asking someone which elevator button they need pressed and pushing it for them. And it goes without saying that “Please” and “Thank you” and general good manners should be part of the daily procedure. Giving someone a compliment is always nice, as is trying to make someone new or who may be feeling insecure feel more welcomed. Inviting them into the conversation, to go along with the group, or just going up to them to initiate a conversation one-on-one will go a long way to bring first comfort, then kindness, and then joy, to someone. There are so many things you can do to pay it forward. Anything and everything that would make YOU feel good — would make someone else feel good!! So do those things each day! Go for it!!!!🥰💖😍 {I shared this contest post on Pinterest}.

Venetia, we love all these ideas to show kindness!
Welcoming someone to be a part of a conversation and a part of a group was one that hit home. Our 11 year old Olivia in our story, would like that one, too. 🙂
Thank you so much for your post and we appreciate you paying it forward by sharing this, too.

  4. Jessica Adams

      Good luck! 🙂

  6. Cat Michaels

    • rosieadmin

I’m excited to hear all about that too, Cat. 🙂
